Krasner makes second run for Newburgh town supervisor

TOWN OF NEWBURGH – Longtime Town of Newburgh resident Stephen Krasner has announced that he will seek the Democratic and Working Families Party endorsements to run for town supervisor.

If elected, he said his focus will be on three priorities – restoring transparency and public confidence, strengthening fiscal responsibility, and planning proactively for the town’s future growth and infrastructure needs.

“Residents deserve to know how decisions are made, where their money is going, and that their voices matter,” he said. “We can build a town government that is open, responsible, and forward-looking – and that work starts on day one.”

Krasner is a senior legal and operations professional.

He previously ran unsuccessfully for the town’s top job.
